Volunteer Criteria

• At least 18 years of age and completed high school
• Complete a phone interview & 3 reference checks
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Complete online abuse prevention training (required every 2 years)​​
• The time commitment for a volunteer counselor is approximately 8:30 AM on Saturday, May 24, 2025 through the following Friday, May 30, 2025 at approximately 12:00 p.m.

Counselor application process

Complete an application​

Completely fill out your application to be considered for Camp Reynal. It will take you 20-30 minutes to complete.

Complete an interview

​A Camp Reynal Representative will be in touch to schedule and conduct an interview with you. It will take approximately 30-45 minutes. 

Background check

A background check will be completed after your application is received and reviewed.

Reference check

Three references must be included on your application and we must be able to contact them before April 30th.
